African Humanitarian Honors

Honoring service that changes lives

Recognizing people whose work creates meaningful impact and inspires others to act.

Recognition with purpose

Start with the person making a difference.

A first nomination should be easy. If someone’s humanitarian or community contribution deserves attention, send us their basic details and choose the category that best reflects their work.

The AHHS team can request supporting information later during review. Submitting a nomination does not guarantee selection, recognition or an award.

Our recognition principles

What we look for.

01

Impact

What changed, and for whom?

02

Integrity

Is the work represented honestly and responsibly?

03

Consistency

Does the contribution demonstrate sustained commitment?

04

Leadership

Has the nominee helped others act or improve their work?

05

Service

How does the contribution respond to people’s needs?

How nominations work

Simple to submit. Careful in review.

01

Submit the nominee

Share the nominee’s name, phone number, email address and the category that best fits their contribution.

02

AHHS reviews the nomination

The team screens the nomination and may contact the nominee or nominator if more information is needed.

03

Follow-up where needed

Supporting information can be requested later instead of making the first nomination form unnecessarily long.

04

Selection and communication

Approved outcomes are communicated through official AHHS channels as the review process progresses.

Nomination form

Nominate your favourite candidate.

Four details are enough to begin. If the AHHS team needs evidence, background information or a fuller profile, we will request it during review.
