Five days built around connection and action.

AHHS is preparing its inaugural continental edition in Kenya. The planned journey brings arrival, the Summit, strategic networking, two distinct learning tracks, the African Humanitarian Honors and the Nairobi Africa Experience into one five-day programme.

Participation is shaped by the registration option selected. Exact dates, venue details and final operational timings will be published when confirmed.

From arrival to farewell.

Day 1

Arrival & Welcome

Welcome to AHHS 2027 with planned airport pickup, hotel check-in, delegate registration, accreditation, welcome packs, a welcome experience and informal networking. Access to travel and accommodation services follows the participation option selected.

Day 2

The Summit & Strategic Networking

The morning programme brings together the opening ceremony, African Humanitarian Dialogue, keynote addresses, panel and plenary sessions and continental humanitarian conversations. The evening shifts into strategic networking, partnerships, foundation and NGO connections, executive introductions and relationship building.

Day 3

Workshop • Masterclass • Honours

The morning runs two parallel learning experiences: the AHHS Humanitarian Workshop for Delegate and Professional Experience participants, and AHHS Masterclasses for Leadership and Honours & Leadership Experience participants. The evening moves into the AHHS Honours & Recognition Night, with red carpet, award presentations, distinguished speakers, official photography, networking and celebration. Access follows the option selected.

Day 4

The Africa Experience

Experience Nairobi through the planned Giraffe Centre, Nairobi National Park, market shopping, Carnivore Restaurant, cultural and social experiences and informal networking. The Africa Experience and airport transfers are included with the four complete Experience options offered during registration.

Day 5

Departure

Breakfast, hotel check-out, airport transfers and farewell close the planned five-day journey for participants whose selected experience includes those services.

AHHS Humanitarian Workshop

The workshop is the practical learning track for Delegate and Professional Experience participants, designed around capacity-building for humanitarian practitioners, NGO representatives, delegates and emerging leaders.

AHHS Masterclasses

The Masterclass track is reserved for Leadership and Honours & Leadership Experience participants, with expert-led sessions designed for leaders, professionals and changemakers.

The two tracks run simultaneously in separate venues. Your registration selection determines the track you attend.

What is AHHS?

AHHS stands for African Humanitarian Honors & Summit. It is an initiative of the Humanitarian Achievement and Outreach Foundation, bringing together dialogue, practical learning, networking and humanitarian recognition.

Is AHHS an annual event?

Yes. AHHS is being developed as an annual gathering within a longer-term humanitarian platform. Each edition has its own host location, programme and registration information.

When and where is the next edition?

AHHS 2027 is planned for Kenya in May 2027. Exact dates and venue details will be published when confirmed.

Who is the event for?

AHHS welcomes people and organizations involved in humanitarian work, philanthropy, community development and related fields, including emerging leaders and contributors from outside Africa with a relevant interest in the continent.

How much is registration?

Registration starts at US$250. After submitting delegate details, registrants can choose Standard Registration or one of the complete AHHS Experience options. Experience prices are total prices, not add-ons to US$250.

What happens on Day 3?

Day 3 uses two parallel learning tracks. Delegate and Professional Experience participants attend the Humanitarian Workshop, while Leadership and Honours & Leadership Experience participants attend the Masterclass track. Evening access follows the selected experience.
